Security breach causes delays at Pearson

Peel Police say all U.S.- bound flights were delayed for several hours at Pearson International Airport on Saturday morning, after a pocket knife made it on-board a plane.

Police say the knife was seized and they do not believe there was any criminal intention involved.

The U.S. Transportation Security Administration recently approved the idea of letting passengers carry pocket knives on planes, starting the end of April.

They are still banned on planes in Canada.

Police were called to the scene after the security breach around 9 in the morning.

All flights out of the terminal were grounded.
