Second man arrested in connection with stabbing incident at Brock University

Niagara police have arrested a second person in connection with a stabbing incident at Brock University in March.

19-year-old Omar Azimi of Whitby was arrested on Sunday.  He’s charged with assault with a weapon and two counts of aggravated assault.

On March 21st, police say two men confronted three Brock students with weapons on campus. When officers arrived on scene they found the injured students near a residence, two of them had stab wounds, while the third was injured after a struggle.

20-year-old Abdul Zaman of Brampton was charged with robbery and assault with a weapon in April.
