A second person has been charged in the stabbing death of 33-year-old Carel Douse in Hamilton.

Daniel Wise, 28, was arrested on July 12 at a Brampton home by members of the Hamilton Police Service, and Peel Regional Police.

Wise is charged with first-degree murder in connection with Douse’s death.

The 33-year-old was found suffering from multiple stab wounds at a home on East Ave. North on May 18.

He was rushed to Hamilton General hospital where he later died.

Investigators believe Douse was initially attacked inside a local barbershop at the corner of King St. East and East Ave. North. They believe he was chased on East Ave. North by three men to the front of a home, where they allegedly continued to stab him.

Toronto police arrested the first suspect, 22-year-old Samitar Hassan, on June 19.

Hamilton police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for a third suspect. Alieu Jeng, 27, is wanted for first-degree murder and police believe he may be in the Greater Toronto Area. Investigators say he may have altered his appearance by shaving his head. Anyone who sees him should call 911 immediately.

Police are asking anyone with information that could help with the investigation to contact Det. Shane Coveyduck at 905-546-3843.
