Second arrest in deadly arson

A second arrest has been made in a deadly fire at a Hamilton convenience store.

25 year old Amanda Gillett of Mississauga has been charged with arson and manslaughter.

Police say she was in a relationship with a man already charged with second degree murder in the case.

21 year old Samir Anbari died while helping to renovate a former 7-11 into another convenience store.

Police say at least two people drove cars loaded with gasoline up to the store’s entrance, and set them on fire, trapping Anbari inside.
