Second arrest in Brantford fraud

The Brantford Police Service Fraud Unit has made a second arrest in connection with the Ball Media Corporation Fraud Investigation.

47 year old Luigi Phillip IMOLA of Brantford is charged with Fraud over $5000.00 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

Investigation revealed that Luigi IMOLA had made personal purchases on the Ball Media Corporation credit cards.

He was released from custody and will appear in court on June 15th.

Back in March, Brantford police charged the chief operating officer of ball media corporation with defrauding the company of more than half a million dollars.

Police allege Christine Elizabeth Paige Imola issued herself extra pay, wrote herself company cheques, issued pay cheques to someone who was not an employee, and charged numerous personal items to company credit cards.

The total amount of money involved is over $565,000.

The 45 year old woman from St.Andrews Drive in Brantford was charged with fraud.
