Seat belt campaign and blitz

The numbers are alarming. Provincial police say 347 people who were not wearing seat belts have died on OPP patrolled roads in the past five years. And they say more than three-quarters of those who died without wearing seat belts were men aged 25 to 34.
The OPP say it takes only five seconds to put on a seat belt and it can save your life in the event of a car crash, even a low-speed one.
The force’s annual seat belt campaign and blitz begins tomorrow.
