Halton Police are searching for a suspect they claim fired a pellet gun at two boys in Oakville on Saturday, hitting one in the face.

According to police, an 11 and 12-year-old were walking on the sidewalk in the area of Monks Passage and Old Carriage Way around 6 p.m. when the passenger of a passing vehicle leaned out of the car window and fired a number of shots.

The two boys were struck a single time, one of them in the face, but fortunately neither suffered serious injuries.

Halton Police are looking for a white teenage boy with blonde hair. At the time of the pellet gun shooting he was wearing a red baseball hat.

The car is described as a black Volvo, possibly a model X-C90.
