School buses destroyed by fire

Four school buses have been destroyed by fire this morning in Burlington.

Police and firefighters responded to the First Student Bus Lines yard at 5421 Dundas Street around 4 a.m. They found four buses fully engulfed in flames when they arrived.

In order to fight the blaze Halton Police closed part of Highway 5 as they had to lay over 600 metres of water line.

The fires were under control within a half hour.

The fire is not considered suspicious.
