School bus driver charged after 10-year-old girl struck

A school bus driver has been charged after a 10-year-old girl was seriously injured in a collision on November 7.

Ericton Lim, 54, was making a left turn out of a commercial commercial plaza onto Sixth line when the bus he was driving struck the young girl who was on a bicycle.

The girl was rushed to McMaster Children’s hospital and remains in serious condition.

Lim will appear in court on December 20 where he faces a failing to yield from a private driveway charge.
