Driver charged with impaired in Skyway crash

A major shutdown on one of the busiest highways in the province late this afternoon after a truck slammed into scaffolding at the top of the Skyway Bridge. No Toronto bound traffic is allowed on the bridge — creating major headaches on surrounding roads like Eastport Drive.  The 34-year old male driver of the truck has been charged with impaired driving.  The CHCH team coverage begins with Al Sweeney and Pamela Vanmeer.
