Friends and family have said goodbye to a Hamilton woman murdered last weekend.

Police found 36-year old Tania Cowell stabbed to death in her Stoney Creek apartment on Sunday morning, after a call from police in Guelph. A funeral was held for her in Dunnville Friday morning. Cowell and her common-law husband, Haiden Suarez Noa shared the apartment on Cherrywood Drive and had a 5 month old boy. Suarez Noa has been charged with second degree murder. The baby wasn’t hurt.
