Salad kits recalled over possible Listeria contamination

A recall due to possible Listeria contamination of a brand of salad kits is being expanded.
Curation Foods is adding additional varieties of its Smart Chopped Salad kits to the recall that was issued on Aug. 26.
It now covers a number of different kits with sizes ranging from 283 grams to 680 grams and best before dates of Sept. 10.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) says the salad kits were sold in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec, and possibly nationally.
There have been no reports of any illnesses linked to the product.
Food contaminated with Listeria may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick.
Symptoms can include nausea, fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness, and in some cases even death.
