Royal expectations

Updated Ever since Will and Kate were married last April, anticipation has been growing about when their family would grow.

Normally the palace would wait until the fetus is 12 weeks along before announcing a potential new heir to the throne. But Kate was admitted to hospital with a rare and severe form of morning sickness, and the Royals didn’t want the news to break first on Twitter.

However Clarence House did make an official announcement on Twitter explaining that she’d need to stay in hospital for several days and need to rest for several days after. Kate has cancelled some upcoming engagements.
