Last-minute preparations are underway, with Prince William and Kate Middleton arriving in Ottawa Thursday afternoon to begin their 9-day Canadian tour.

Heritage Minister James Moore is refusing to share any security details, but says proper assessments have been done.

The Royal Couple’s official itinerary kicks off in Ottawa for Canada Day festivities on Friday, and includes stops in Montreal, Quebec City, Charlottetown, Summerside, PEI, and Yellowknife — before ending in Calgary with the opening of the Stampede.
