Route set for Pan Am torch relay

The torch relay for the 2015 Pan-Am games will involve a trip across Canada.
The torch will pass through Calgary, Winnipeg, Montreal, Halifax and the Greater Vancouver Area — as well as more than 100 Ontario communities. Three-thousand people are expected to take their turn carrying the flame over its 41 day journey. And Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield has been named as an honorary torchbearer: “It makes me doubly or triply proud to be one of the representatives of the many people who are going to be carrying a torch, running to places all across Canada, primarily in Ontario, in and around our province. Places where all of us live and places that are special to me.”
Hadfield was especially proud that the torch would be going through his home town of Sarnia. The relay will start on May 30th in Toronto.
