Ron Joyce accused of sexual assault

The co-founder of the coffee giant Tim Hortons is on the receiving end of a civil suit. It alleges Ron Joyce sexually assaulted a former lover in 2011.
84-year-old Ron Joyce is calling the suit a complete fabrication.

According to the Canadian Press, the alleged incident took place sometime in 2011.

Documents allege a woman, an on and off again lover, spent the night in Joyce’s home in Burlington and woke up early in the morning to find Joyce naked in the bed sexually assaulting her.

Joyce alleges the same woman had asked him for money in the past and even threatened to damage his reputation.
