Robbery at Hamilton Shoppers Drug Mart

A brazen daylight robbery in Hamilton Friday afternoon…

Police report two men entered the Shoppers Drug Mart on Main Street East just before 3pm.

One man had a sawed off shotgun and the other had a handgun.

They got away with an unknown amount of oxycontin.

No shots were fired but an ambulance was called as the clerk was shaken up by the incident.

The two men were joined by a lookout and all three were believed to have left the scene in a 1999 four-door Honda.

Police have excellent descriptions of both suspects and the vehicle.
