Road rage incident leads to stabbing in Oakville

Halton police say a road rage incident may have led to a violent assault in Oakville.
Officers were called a commercial plaza on Cross Ave. around 5:50 p.m. on Aug. 22.
Police say a man who worked at a local business was stabbed by a stranger. He was rushed to hospital where he required surgery for a knife wound. The victim has since been released.
Investigators believe there was a road rage incident between the victim and attacker before the stabbing.
On Aug. 29, police arrested 19-year-old Devan Dhindsa, of Oakville. He has been charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Dhindsa has been held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 30.
