Road in Waterdown faces closure for Hamilton Water repairs

Residents in Waterdown are warned of a partial road closure on Mill St. this morning as crews work to replace a water distribution valve.

The City of Hamilton announced the road closure last night, saying members of Hamilton Water will be responding to the intersection of Mill St. and Union St. at 8 a.m. in order to make the replacement.

Hamilton Water will be responding to a water distribution valve replacement at the Mill St S and Union St intersection tomorrow at 8am. During the replacement, Mill St S will closed to traffic from Griffin St to Mountain Brow Rd. Work is expected to wrap up by 4pm tomorrow.

Mill St. South will be closed to traffic from Griffin St. to Mountain Brow Rd. for the time it takes to complete the work.

Crews are expected to wrap up by 4 p.m. today.
