Road blockades return to Caledonia after protesters and OPP clash

Road closures are once again in place in Caledonia after another clash between OPP and protesters.
OPP accuse demonstrators of damaging a cruiser at the construction site at the centre of the land dispute.
Occupiers say officers escalated the situation by coming in with guns and firing rubber bullets.

On Thursday an Ontario Superior Court judge ordered the protesters, who have been occupying the McKenzie Meadows site since July, to permanently leave.
Demonstrators say the development is on unceded land and that it violates the sovereignty of the Haudenosaunee people.
Skyler Williams, the spokesperson for the protest, says the federal government has reached out but no date has been set for a meeting.
