Rio 2

Rio 2 is the animated sequel to 2011’s Rio about Blu and Jewel, two of the last blue spix macaws in existence. The sequel sees the couple living happily in Rio de Janeiro with their kids, but when they learn that there is a group of other macaws living deep in the Amazon, Jewel convinces Blu to go with her and track them down. Returning to voice Blu and Jewel are Jesse Eisenberg and Anne Hathaway, and they’re joined by Jemaine Clement, Kristin Chenoweth, Bruno Mars, George Lopez, Tracy Morgan, Leslie Mann, Andy Garcia, and Jamie Foxx.

Like the original film, Rio 2 puts a large emphasis on its music. The soundtrack features songs from the musically talented cast members like Bruno Mars, Kristen Chenoweth, Anne Hathaway, and Jemaine Clement, and even features a few tracks that Andy Garcia chimes in on.

Rio 2 is rated G.
