Richest Canadians

It seems some of Canada’s rich, are not getting richer.

Canadian Business Magazine says, just like the rest of us, many of the country’s wealthiest people have seen their fortunes shrink this past year.

Toronto’s Thomson family, who’ve topped the top-100 list for years, saw their huge wealth shrink an estimated 8.7% to $21.34 billion.

Also a little worse off this year is supermarket magnate Galen Weston, though his family is still not struggling to keep food on the table.

He’s second on the list with $8 billion, down 5.8% from last year.
