Residents react to “cleanup” bylaw

The Hamilton couple who received a bylaw notice ordering them to remove a kitchen table and chair set from their front porch are now allowed to keep it. The city says it has nothing to do with the Pan Am games.

The city’s bylaw prohibits indoor furniture outside. And while the story in the east end is generating a lot of attention, neighbours in the west end would love the cities attention after they have called to complain about a home there.

Either way both agree the by law needs to be re worked.
