Residents concerned about getting around Waterdown amid bridge construction

The residents don’t like it but the city says it has to be done.
We’re talking about a well travelled bridge on Dundas Street in Waterdown.
The Grindstone Creek bridge looks a little worse for wear and people living nearby are concerned about a construction project that is expected to take a couple of years.
When something is visibly falling apart, it’s understandable repairs need to be done.
This how some Waterdown residents are taking the construction about to happen in their community but they are raising concerns about travelling in and around town.
The area in question stretches from Hamilton street north, along Dundas Street East, to Avonsyde Boulevard.
Planned construction is scheduled for late spring/early summer 2025.
