Candidates took part in a raucous second debate for the Republican presidential nomination.

GOP presidential candidate frontrunner Donald Trump wasn’t there, and his rivals laid into him for skipping the whole thing.

Trump chose instead to hold a rally in Michigan — trying to capitalize on the U.S. auto workers strike, while seven other republican candidates battled it out at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California.
