Reports of swimmer above Niagara Falls

Niagara Police say there is no longer an active search, after reports that someone was in the water above the falls Wednesday night.

Niagara Parks Police, firefighters, and the U.S. coastguard searched the Niagara River overnight. Although police believe a person went over the falls near Table Rock,  a search of the lower Niagara River with thermal imaging did not turn up anything.
