Remembering Garry Marshall

The man behind the TV hits “Happy Days” and “Laverne & Shirley” has died.

Garry Marshall was 81. His publicist says Marshall died yesterday in Burbank, California, of complications from pneumonia after having a stroke.

Marshall’s career as a writer and director began in the 60’s and also included such box-office hits as “Pretty Woman” and “Runaway Bride.”
