Red Hill ramp reopened after truck rollover in Hamilton

A truck rollover on the Red Hill Valley Parkway shut down the Toronto-bound ramp to the Queen Elizabeth Parkway Monday afternoon.
The truck appeared to be carrying scrap metal and spilled its load when it flipped over.
Fire crews worked to clean up a large diesel spill on the roadway. No one was injured.
Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said on Twitter that police are investigating if the truck was cut off.

The Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Transportation were called in to investigate.
The ramp reopened around 6 p.m. Monday.
Police say no charges have been laid at this time.
