Red Hill Valley Parkway Fatal

Thousands of drivers use the red hill everyday — but on Tuesday night the drive proved to be fatal for two young women and now police are trying to piece together what happened.

Those who knew Olivia Smosarski and Jordyn Hastings are in shock as the two had their entire lives ahead of them, but now the family are making arrangements to say goodbye.

It was 11:30 Tuesday night when the collision took place. The mazda that Jordyn and Olivia were in veered across the median from Northbound, to the Southdbound lanes and hit a minivan.

Paramedics arrived but both women were declared dead at the scene. The driver of the minivan was taken to hospital and later released.

Their memory is kept alive online with friends posting messages of support on instagram expressing love, and saying, they are angels now.

The families are making arrangements to say goodbye.
