Recycling truck driver dead after crashing into hydro box in Glanbrook

Hamilton police say one person has died after a crash in Glanbrook Friday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded around 12:15 p.m. to Dakota Blvd. and Hannon Cres. for reports of a single-vehicle collision involving a recycling truck.
Const. Indy Bharaj said the truck hit a couple of parked vehicles and a green hydro box.
Hamilton Police are investigating a single motor vehicle collision in the area of Dakota Blvd and Hannon Crescent in Glanbrook.

Bharaj said the 47-year-old driver was taken to hospital without vital signs. The man died in hospital soon after.
Officers are investigating the cause of the crash and have notified the Ministry of Labour.
