Recommendations made for Marineland

The Ontario SPCA says it has made recommendations to Marineland in Niagara Falls and have called in experts to help with the assessments.

The animal protection group says officers have identified some areas of concern where there are some deficiencies.

However, due to the large number of animals, including 13 different species, the OSPCA says it needs more time to investigate.

Former Marineland employees sent a petition to Queen’s Park last month with 77,000 names on it requesting better protection for animals at zoos and aquariums.
