Recall of beef sold in Ontario

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a recall for beef products from XL foods in Alberta.

The agency is concerned about possible dangerous Ecoli contamination in the beef.

The warning if for beef sold in Ontario from August 24 through September 16 at Co-op, Sobeys, Giant Tiger and Foodland stores.

Officials are asking for consumers to please check the labels on their beef.
