It’s a long way from Cybertron but one of the Transformers was in the area, Thursday. The truck used in the movie “Trasformers: Age of Extinction” is touring in support of a young boy who has terminal cancer.

The very truck that you see in the film… making stops in Paris, and St. George all the way from Alabama.

It took half a million dollars to build the truck for the film and it took two days to drive up all for a good cause.

The truck is here as a tribute to Evan Levesage, a young boy from St. George who is suffering from terminal brain cancer.

He isn’t well enough to visit the truck but his mother Nicole, and brothers Tyson and Logan were here in his place.

This is just the latest in a series of events for Evan. With the fear that he may not make it to Christmas, the town rallied last month and held a parade in his honour.

After starting at Paris District High School the truck went to the St. George Fire Hall before moving on to Evan’s elementary school, all while adding to the 48 thousand dollars already raised for for Pediatric Brain Cancer Research.
