RBG to open outdoor gardens on Saturday

The Royal Botanical Gardens will open its outdoor garden areas on Saturday.

That includes Hendrie Park and the David Braley and Nancy Gordon Rock Garden, which will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. all week.

The RBG Centre and the Rock Garden Visitor Centre will only be open to provide access to the outdoor garden areas.

Washrooms will be available but building amenities and food areas will be closed to the public.

As part of Saturday’s reopening, RBG will be offering “Winteractive” an outdoor experience in both gardens that features interactive components and activities.
