Raising the roof at Sherwood

Approximately 25-thousand people under the age of 18 are living in poverty in Hamilton. More than a quarter of them are homeless or almost homeless. To try and change those numbers, Wesley Urban Ministries’ has a “Raising the Roof” program. Students at Sherwood Secondary School helped launch it Friday. Kelda Yuen was there where she met one youth who is now standing on his own two feet thanks to the ministry.
