Two days after a dump truck slammed into the Burlington Skyway bridge and wreaked havoc for commuters there are still questions surrounding the truck driver connected to the incident.

34 year-old Sukhvinder Singh Rai of Brampton is facing charges of impaired driving.

CHCH News went to the home where he is believed to live and talked to neighbours in the quiet area.

They say he is married and has two young children, a boy around 6-years-old and a little girl around two years of age.

CHCH learned numerous people live in the home but a language barrier prevents them from speaking at any great length about the incident.

The truck’s cab is owned by Peel Transport Ltd.

Singh Rai was taken into custody and given a breathalyzer test. His blood alcohol was over the legal limit.

His licence has been suspended for 90 days. Singh Rai will appear in a Hamilton court on August 22.
