After two weeks on the run, three prisoners who escaped from a Quebec prison by helicopter have been captured.

Quebec provincial police say investigators and a tactical team arrested the men in an upscale Montreal condo at around 1:30 this morning.

Yves Denis, 35, Denis Lefebvre, 53, and Serge Pomerleau, 49, escaped from the detention centre on June 7. The three were among dozens arrested in a 2010 drug bust. Police say the investigation is far from over.

The men are set to appear in court tomorrow.
