Public Safety Canada monitoring 3D-printed guns

Public Safety Canada is keeping a close eye on the U.S. as a Texas company could make 3D-printed guns available for download online.
They noted that there are rules already in place in Canada to prevent unauthorized weapons from being made.
In addition, they add that it’s illegal to make or possess a firearm without the right license and registration certificate.
A U.S. federal judge in Seattle issued a temporary restraining order on Tuesday to stop the release of the blueprints to make the untraceable 3D-printed plastic guns.
The company’s website had said downloads would begin today, but blueprints for at least one gun, a plastic pistol called the Liberator had been posted on the site since July 27.
U.S. President Donald Trump has said on Twitter that he is looking into the matter.
I am looking into 3-D Plastic Guns being sold to the public. Already spoke to NRA, doesn’t seem to make much sense!

Eight states have filed a lawsuit to block a federal government settlement with the company, arguing that 3D guns would be a safety risk.
