Province orders temporary takeover of Millennium Trail Manor long-term care home

The provincial government has ordered a temporary takeover at a long-term care home in Niagara Falls.

The Niagara Health System will take over Millennium Trail Manor long-term care home for 90 days.

The home first declared an outbreak of COVID-19 on Sept. 29.

The province says “enhanced management” is needed to protect residents.

Two people have died and there have been 20 cases between staff and residents.
