Province kicks in to Mobility Cup

Canada’s largest sailing regatta for disabled athletes has been given a major boost.

Hamilton Mountain MPP Sophia Aggleonitis was at the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club Thursday to announce the Ontario government will give $47,000 towards this year’s Mobility Cup.
Through the use of innovative technology, it’s made sailing accessible to people living with severe disabilities.
The USA, Europe and New Zealand will compete on the waters of Hamilton Harbour for a variety of awards.
The Mobility Cup runs from August 29th to September 2nd.
