Protestors hit Enbridge Westover pumping station

After a public meeting on a controversial pipeline running from Sarnia to Hamilton, protestors are trying to shut down construction at one pumping station.
About 60 demonstrators are outside the station in Westover, in Flamborough. They claim almost 90 per cent of all pipeline spills happen at pumping stations.
Meanwhile, Enbridge is holding two public meetings today to discuss a plan to reverse an oil pipeline that runs through Flamborough, Burlington and Oakville. Two weeks ago, protestors shut down a section of Main Street. They said they were upset about Enbridge reportedly giving thousands of dollars to Hamilton Police.
