Protestors camp outside Hamilton City Hall vowing to stay until demands to defund police are met

Protestors calling for a 50% cut to the Hamilton police budget say they will stay outside city hall until their demands are met. “Defund HPS” says the city should re-invest in affordable housing. The police have charged one of the organizers saying the number of people in attendance exceeded what is permitted for an outdoor gathering during the pandemic. Nicole Martin reports.
