Protesters gather in Mississauga amid mideast tension

The current tensions in the middle east led to a huge police presence in Mississauga last night.
The gathering took place outside Palestine House on Erindale Station Road as members of the Jewish Defence League of Canada held a protest. They were waving flags and signs protesting Hamas. When people from Palestine House came outside, scuffles broke out. Police were called, and they responded with about 40 vehicles and the tactical team. The protest is a response to the current situation in Jerusalem.
One person was sent to hospital with minor injuries, but there were no arrests. In the Middle East, tensions remain high over the deaths of three Israeli teens and a Palestinian youth, which Palestinians allege was a revenge killing. This is also the first Friday of Ramadan.
