Proposed fee hike on Burlington transit

Burlington City Council is voting on a transit hike Monday.

If approved, it would raise fares from $3.00 to $3.25. The 8.4% hike would come into effect on the first of May and would be the first one since 2010. If it’s given the green light, the fare would be higher than what Torontonians pay for the TTC.
