Princess costume recalled due to flammability concerns

Health Canada is recalling a youth princess costume due to concerns that it could easily catch fire.

The Little Designer Collection by Forum Novelties’ Twilight Princess costume with lot number 41693 is affected by the recall.

Health Canada says the costume, which was manufactured in Taiwan, does not meet flammability requirements.

If exposed to ignition sources such as stove elements, candles, matches, or lighters, the costume can catch fire.

The costumes were sold nationally from May 2016 to October 2021.

The lot number can be found on the garment tag located at the neck opening of the costume.

Health Canada says the recalled costume should immediately be taken away from children and discarded in regular household waste.
