Prince George’s birth is officially registered

It’s official, Prince William and his wife, Kate, have formally registered the birth of their son.

Kensington Palace says William signed the birth registry Friday for Prince George, the third in line to the throne.

The entry gives the young Prince’s date and place of birth, and full name: His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge.

William and Kate also gave their full names and occupations. Their jobs are listed as Prince and Princess of the United Kingdom.
