Premier Ford unveils additional investments as Ontarians wait for election

As Ontarians wait for a “snap election” to become official, the Ford government unleashed numerous last-second spending announcements Monday.

Premier Doug Ford has said he will meet with the lieutenant-governor to trigger a vote on February 27.

The Progressive Conservative’s unveiled additional investments into transportation, energy and healthcare, a highly contentious topic in the province.
