Prairie spring storm

The highway between Calgary and Edmonton is open this morning after a blizzard caused a series of accidents. including a 100 car pile up.

Police closed a 60-kilometre stretch of Highway 2 the main road between Edmonton and Calgary yesterday due to icy roads and poor visibility.

100 people were taken to hospital.

Officials say only one person has been seriously injured and the others suffered minor to moderate injuries.
