UPDATE: Power restored after brief outage on Hamilton mountain

Alecta says crews have restored power to an area on the Hamilton Mountain that was without power Monday morning.

The utility company reported the power outage around 7:30 a.m.

The affected area was from Upper James St. to Upper Gage Ave. and from the Sherman Access to Limeridge Rd.

It said 2,305 homes and businesses were affected.

Power was fully restored to the area by about 10:30 a.m.
