Labour unrest in Ontario’s education system is expected to spread Monday.

Public high school teachers in the Peel Region could be on the picket line Monday morning, joining their counterparts in Durham and Sudbury.

The teachers have been without a contract since August 2014.

Negotiations are continuing throughout the weekend and teachers are said to be extremely frustrated at the lack of progress.

The OOSTF members say they’ll be on the picket line Monday morning if a collective agreement isn’t reached.

Students are advised to check the board’s website and twitter page for updates.
